Can I order over the phone?

No, actually you must order online. Due to strict PCI Compliance (credit card security) guidelines, we cannot accept credit cards over the phone.

 

Will you let me know if my images are too small or of poor quality before printing?

When using our Standard Poster products and you are uploading a bitmap image (JPG or TIF), the system will auto-detect resolution and give you feedback on if it's sufficient or not. If the system's response states the resolution is too low, it would likely yield a pixelated or blurry poster if used to print. If you are using our "Print Ready" product and uploading an image that is a PDF, it will be your responsibility to make sure it is of sufficient quality. You can always contact us for advise on images.

 

Are there volume or bulk discounts?

No.  We have built the maximum discounts into each and every order already.

 

Do you provide proofs before printing posters?

We do not offer proofs ahead of printing.  You are welcome, of course, to order a single poster and treat it as a proof before ordering multiples, if it is important for you to see exactly how the finished poster will look prior to ordering larger quantities.

 

What is the difference between Express Production and express shipping?

"Express Production" expedites the production time of your order.  Our standard production time is 5 business days, however you can choose to upgrade from the standard 5 days to 3, 2 or 1 day.  This is done during the checkout process.  "Express Shipping" is the shipping method that you choose.

Can I create different posters from different files in the same order?

Yes.  You can order as many different posters from as many different files/images as you like in a single order.

 

I've tried placing my order several times, and I keep getting an error. I looked on my credit card statement online, and I see three charges to my card! Will I be charged 3 times?

No, you will not be charged 3 times. A transaction has two sides, the side that sends the money (your credit card company or bank), and the side that receives the money (shortrunposters.com). When a transaction is denied, your bank tries to gives us the money, but we do not accept. This is why the charges show up.  At most, after a few days these "charges" will be reversed when your bank sees that we are not accepting the payment.

 

When I put in my credit card information and click the "Continue", it gives me an error.

We get this problem a lot, and almost every time it is because the billing information that you provided doesn't match the credit card, especially the zip code. If this doesn't work, make sure that you don't have an overdue balance on your card.  If you are still having problems, be sure to note any "Error Number" that you see, this will help us determine the exact cause of the problem.

 

When does my credit card get charged with the order?

You are charged immediately after you accept and place the order. Some delays may occur with your credit card company before our charges show up.  The charges will be listed as either "PayPal" or "Cumberland".

 

What payment methods does ShortRunPosters.com accept?

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express and PayPal. Shortrunposters.com does not offer Net 30 accounts or payment via personal check or money order.

 

Does production time include shipping?

No. Production time refers only to in house manufacturing time and does not include shipping. The production time starts when ShortRunPosters.com receives the files for printing. Production times do not include weekend days or holidays.

 

Can I change the quantity of my order after ordering?

In some circumstances, if not work has been completed on your order, you can change the quantity to include more posters.  Unfortunately we cannot issue a partial refund.

 

Can I change my artwork files?

Once your order has been placed and queued into our prepress servers, your order most likely can not be edited or altered in any way. Please make sure that the file you upload are the files that you would like to print.  In some cases you will be able to add or change a file.  It's best to call and ask: 615-320-1195.

 

How do I cancel my order?

When you click the "Confirm" button, your credit card will be charged automatically including any applicable shipping and handling charges. No refunds can be given for orders that have been received by our prepress department.  In some cases, your order may be refunded if no work has been completed on it.  If the job has entered printing status, we cannot refund the payment.

 

Can I request a faster turnaround time after I placed an order?

If you contact us within a few hours of placing your order, there is a good chance that you can upgrade to Express from Standard. We cannot downgrade orders from Express to Standard however.

 

What shipping methods do you offer?

We offer standard UPS methods (Ground, 3-Day Select, 2-Day Air, Next Day Air, etc.) for continental US states and HI, Alaska we ship USPS Priority Mail.
